FOUNTAIN CITY, WISCONSIN – En abril de 2009, el periódico Il Messaggero publicó una traducción al italiano de la “Regla para los Cónyuges” escrita por el Cardenal Karol Wojtyła en 1968. Esta fue la primera vez que se hizo pública fuera de la Arquidiócesis de Cracovia. Wojtyła Institute Press se complace en anunciar la traducción al español de su libro inaugural: La Regla: La Regla de San Juan Pablo II para un Matrimonio de Amor Divino Lleno de Alegría. En la versión en inglés, Theresa y Peter Martin nos ofrecieron la primera traducción a este idioma de la Regla del Cardenal Wojtyła, así como otros dos textos. Y ahora tenemos la alegría de presentarlo a la comunidad de habla hispana. Ellos han elaborado de manera brillante la concisa “Regla para Grupos de Matrimonios” de seis puntos escrita por San Juan Pablo II y la han desarrollado, usando las propias palabras del santo, para explicar su clave para profundizar la espiritualidad conyugal ¡y encontrar una alegría duradera!

SOBRE LOS AUTORES: PETER Y THERESA MARTIN se casaron en Nueva Orleans en 2001. Comenzaron su noviazgo mientras estudiaban en el extranjero en Roma. Durante su compromiso respondieron a un llamado para servir a los matrimonios, lo que los llevó de regreso a Roma, donde ambos estudiaron sus posgrados en Teología. Actualmente residen en Wisconsin con sus ocho hijos. This was the first time it had ever been made public outside of the Archdiocese of Krakow. Wojtyła Institute Press is excited to announce the Spanish translation of its inaugural book: La Regla: La Regla de San Juan Pablo II para un Matrimonio de Amor Divino Lleno de Alegría. In the English book, Theresa and Peter Martin offered us the first English translation of Cardinal Wojtyła’s Rule as well as two other texts. And now we have the joy to offer this to those in the Spanish speaking community. They have brilliantly taken the concise, six-point “Rule for Married Couple Groups” written by St. John Paul II and expounded upon it, using St. John Paul II's own words, to explain his key to deepening conjugal spirituality and finding lasting joy!

ABOUT THE AUTHORS: PETER AND THERESA MARTIN were married in New Orleans in 2001. They began dating while studying abroad in Rome. During their engagement they answered a call to serve married couples, which took them back to Rome, both pursuing graduate degrees in Theology. They now reside in Wisconsin with their eight children. Peter is the Director of the Office of Life, Marriage & Family for the Diocese of Winona-Rochester, and Theresa is a homeschooling mother, author, and Executive Director of the Wojtyła Community & Institute.
