(Winona, MN) - The Wojtyla Community & Institute, Inc. (WCI) Board of Directors has named Theresa Martin as the first Executive Director of the WCI. 

Theresa received her Theology degree with a specialization in Marriage & Family from Maryvale Institute in Birmingham, England in 2019.  She also studied at the Pontifical University of St. Thomas in Rome, Italy for four years after having first received her Bachelor’s degree from the University of St. Thomas, in St. Paul, Minnesota.  Theresa is a professional author and has worked in marriage ministry alongside her husband for over fifteen years. 


“The WCI is proud to have Ms. Martin lead our organization into the next phase of our development.  Her passion and familiarity of The Rule of St. John Paul II is extraordinary.” Mr. Peter Martin, President of the Board of Directors said. “We believe under her leadership, the WCI is poised to see great things ahead.” 

The WCI is an intentional, committed, Catholic community following The Rule for Married Couple Groups (MCG) written by Cardinal Karol Wojtyła (St. John Paul II). WCI has a Marriage Charism with the MCGs at its core and is committed to upholding the Culture of the Person as explained by Wojtyła and helping couples deepen their Conjugal Spirituality
