Winona Area October Community Gathering!

You and your family are invited to join us on Sunday, October 26th at the Crossings Center in Lewiston, beginning at 4pm, for our October Community Gathering! Bring a potluck dish to share and your whole family to enjoy fellowship and time together, strengthening families and marriages. 

This month, we are celebrating the feast of the WCI’s patron, Pope Saint John Paul II, whose feast day is earlier in the week. To mark this occasion, we will have a special concert reading of The Jeweler’s Shop, a play written by Pope Saint John Paul II, performed by fellow WCI members! You won’t want to miss this! Invite your friends and enjoy a lovely evening at the beautiful Crossings venue. 

Schedule for the gathering:

4-4:15pm: arrival and social time

4:15pm: welcome, marriage anniversary blessing, praying of Evening Prayer*

4:45-5:30pm: potluck dinner and fellowship 

5:30-6:30pm: The Jeweler’s Shop— a Concert Reading by a WCI group (playground and rec courts available for children during performance) 

6:30pm: Closing prayer 

*Please bring a Breviary if you have one, or download the iBreviary app on your smartphone to pray along. Hard copies of Evening Prayer will also be available in a limited quantity.
